I'll take that as a vote of confidence!
Lets hope it turns out that way!

It is a vote of confidence :)

The more sturdy the better! Handy to work in a machine shop too.

So what else to do on a sleepless Saturday morning?
And then complete on a hot Saturday afternoon with your pregnant wife supervising?

Machine an Eventorbot frame of course!

Paul, if you use "img" tags rather than "URL" tags we could see the images right in the post. :)

Hi,
Yeah I try that! I have used the img tags in both posts that reference pictures

Can you help me out on this? The link below is an image of the what I write to insert the image, what am I doing wrong?

It looks to me like there are two different ways to share stuff on dropbox. You're using the "Share link to photo" feature, which gives you URLs like this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4pe565dpsrzx1uq/img.PNG

When you follow this link you get an HTML page inside Dropbox that includes the image.

The other way is to use the "Copy public link" feature, which produces a URL that looks like this:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3270667/knight.jpg

This goes directly to the image, not an HTML page that contains the image. This one works inside of our "img" tags:

Code: Select all
[img]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3270667/knight.jpg[/img]

Hi,
Thanks for the information. I think I must have a different version of DropBox because the only option I get from either the website or the folder on my computer is "Share Link" and that is the one I have been using.
I think I will find another place to host the pictures.
Any ideas?

Maybe we should have a picture hosting thread right here on the forums. I've been adding the attachments to my post then copying the link location into the img tags. Works great but you end up with the pics showing at the bottom of the post too.

If we could post the pics on another thread and copy the link from there, it keeps all the data for the forum in one place.
